  • The end of the trainee programme - but also the start of a new journey!

15 months can go by very quickly when you have fun. And here we are now, celebrating our last days together as trainees before we continue onto different paths in the Group. On the picture below, you can see where we are heading after the programme. We also wanted to share some personal thoughts with you and have written a few sentences each.

  • Tequila shots and snorting chocolate

Why is chocolate combined with caviar a good idea? And what does Rolling Stones have to do with food innovation? These are some questions that were answered during Puratos 2012 Taste Tomorrow conference in Chicago. Continue reading and I’ll let you in on the secrets!

  • A challenge in rhetorics

I am not a big fan of speaking in front of a crowd, in fact I have always found it quite nerve-racking.

  • Fika in Chicago

The first time I heard about Lantmännen’s office in Chicago I was amazed. Is Lantmännen really that big? As I learned more about the successful business in the States, my curiosity grew. Wow, imagine what it would be like to work there! This was in the spring of 2011, during the application process for the trainee program. A little more than a year has gone by and now I am actually here, positioned at the Chicago office.

  • Country life

Actually it wasn’t really a question for me where to go for my last period of practice. I wanted to 1. work closer to the core business 2. be more hands on within my projects 3. tie the three earlier projects together in a good way. • A fall filled with excitement!

The expression times flies when you have fun is the best way to express my first week with the SME department. I have now started my fourth and last trainee assignment and actually at the same time my new employment at Lantmännen. I can now titules myself “SME analyst within procurement”. I guess you wonder what SME stands for?!

  • Back in Stockholm at the HQ

Summer vacation just flew by and I’m already back at work, however not in Copenhagen anymore, this period I’m placed at the department for sustainable development in Stockholm.

  • Sweet summer!

Here comes a short update from Stockholm, with just a few hours left on my third project. I have mixed feelings about leaving since I have had a great time here, but I am also longing for my first paid (!) summer vacation.

  • My last week at Unibake UK

When I am getting closer to the end of my stay here at Unibake UK, I have to say, it has indeed been an exciting 4 months. I have got loads of experience with everything from culture differences to the possibility to be part of the LEAD transformation.
